NEW HOT CHICKEN SANDWICH
smothered b Gravy
Like an idea for a hot, Quick and popular dish for the school
day lunch? Then consider this new Hot Chicken Sandwich.
The new part of it is . . . tansy canned apple sauce. You
simply season the sauce lightly ana spread it deep on fresh hot

slices together and serve the sandwich ladled with a thick,
smooth, delicious gravy made of chicken broth and apple sauce.
All very simple but offering a chicken-apple savorfness that's
just the ticket for a chilly day. Nice with it would be tomato
slices on greens. *
