This workshop was sponsored J>y the Smith Senior 4-H Club and w#s attended by 46 club members and 8 adult leaders. Club members from near by clubs were invited. Smiths Community 4-H Club Expands Smith Community 4-H Club was prganized in March of 1961 with 25 members. By the fall of 1962, the attendance and interest in the Club had grown to such an extent that it became necessary to divide the club into a Junior and a Seiior Club. The Smiths Senior 4-H Club now has 16 members and the Junior 4-H Club has 19 members. Smiths Community was awarled First place in the Duplin County Community Development Program last-year for its community youth program. It was awarded Third place in the SENCland area compe tition. Members of this club completed approximately SO projects last year and leaders were Mrs. Harold Smith, and Mr. and Mrs. Bryant Smith, Jr. Officers for the 'Junior 4-H Club are: June Smith, Linda Diane Smith, Judy Smith. John Smith, Jr., Durant Glover and Marion Hansiey Leaders for the Senior Club'are: Mrs. Faison Turner, Glenn Wil liams, and Mrs. Christine W. Wil liams.
