BIBLE SCHOOL COMMENCEMENT On Sunday night, June 12. the parents Drought their chil dren to the church to see just what they had learned through the week of Bible School. "The Redeemer" was the theme for the year. All the children In each de partment assembled In front of the church to March In as the music began. Each class gave a short program, begin ning with Nursery Class No. 1. Mrs. Fitzgerald Bostlc was the teacher and Mrs. Carrie Chesmore and Mrs. June wflll ford were her helpers. Mrs. Edwood Earl Kennedy was the teacher for Nursery Class No. 2 and Mrs. Dur wood Anderson was her helper. They began a story treeof some of the stories they had learned during the week and sang cho ruses. The teacher In Beginner Class No. 1 was Mrs. Percy Kennedy and Mrs. Lois Ken nedy was her helper. Mrs. Dorothy Thigpen taught Begin ner class No. 2 with Mrs. Joan Jones and Mrs. Sue Tripp as her helpers. They continued with the stories and singing Chffprtn?ry Clm No. 1 MB. Heoy J ? wwfce verses and showed Ve nires they had made during Bible School. Mrs. Wilbur Sumner taught junior Class No. 1 and Mrs. Herman Smith was her helper. They all told some of the tilings they had learned by ro iling Bible verses and pre senting the Plan of Salvation. The Intermediate class gave a Pantomine of the "Lords . Supper," which was very in spiring. Rev. C. a Hansley was their teacher. The Bible School st Sandy Plain Free Will Baptist church 1 was a success. Mrs. Arthui 1 Kennedy did a wonderful Job as director. The school had an enrollment of 89 pupils and 26 teachers and helpers. There was an average attendance of 116 during the week. BOYS FELLOWSHIP CLUB The boys club of Sandy Plain Church met at the church to hold their regular meeting on June 7. The meeting was call ed to order. "1 Know The Lord W01 Make a Way" and '?Every Day with Jesus" was sung. Preston Smith led in prayer. The business was entered into by reading the minutes of the last meeting. An offer ing was taken. The boys decided to trim the hedges at the church later in the summer. Later, they will decide when,to play ball with the boys at Arapahoe church. The business meeting was closed and the meeting was turned over to Ken Smith who had the devotions. Earl Thig pen gave the benediction. The next meeting will be at the church. She then led the children m prayer. The Cherubs practiced tnelr memory work, "The Lord's Prayer," and practiced the songs they would stag at the Bible School Commencement on Sunday night.
