Zlon Presbyterian Church In Rose Hill met in a Joint Christ mas meeting on December 6th at the Church Hall. Mrs. Joseph Robinson, president of women of the Church, conducted the ' ' r,1!iK The various Circles retired to different rooms for their business meeting after which Mrs. Gerald Carr conducted the Bible study. Mrs. Horace Fus sell, jr., read a Christmas story. To close the meeting Mrs. Lee Souder led the group in singling Christmas carols. Refreshments of coffee and cake were enjoyed by all pre Mr. Smith Guest Speaker At Club The Rose Hill Town and Coun try Club met on December 6th at the home of Mrs. Dennis Ramsey. Mrs. David Rouse, President, presided over the meeting. Devotionals were conducted by Mrs. Ramsey. A brief bu siness meeting followed. Mr. Al Smfth from the Flo rist Gift Shop In Warsaw was Introduced. He gave a most Interesting demonstration on Christmas Decorations. He brought along many decorative designs that he had made In advance, and made several other pieces daring the program He showed various types of wreaths, door pieces, center pieces for tables, and various other inside suggestions. This program was greatly enjoyed by all members present. Mrs.nDocla Blanchard was chairman of a music program that followed. English ana Welsh Christmas carols were sung by three children of Mr. and Mrs. Leo Jones. Refreshments of fruit cake with whipped cream and coffee was served by the hostess. A delicious chicken and pastry supper was served by the women of the church. The speaker for the evening was Mr. Charles Whitley, an attorney from Mt. olive, and Administrative Assistant to Da vid Henderson. He spoke on his Duties as Administrative As sistant.
