Upon Arrival Miss Edwards was presented a corsage of miniature white mums. TTiere freshment table which was set up in the living room was th rown with a yellow linen cloth. A silver punch bowl surrounded by ivy aid fruit formed the ce nterpieces. The hostesses served nut rolls, cheese stra ws,chicken salad patty shells, and Cokes. The hostess presented the bride elect with a gift of sil ver in her chosen pattern. When scores were tallied Mrs W.C. Martin was club high for which she received a match ing bath towel and cloth; Mrs Irene B. Strickland received a grater and bowl conblnatlon for visitors' high; and, Mrs. Fish er Carlton received a kitchen towel for second high. West Jr. was awarded a picture for club high and Mrs. James Herman Hines was awarded a hair brush for visitors'high. Mrs. Walter P. West received a crystal but ter dish for consolation. Sister off Warsaw Resident- o Honored In Toxos Miss Ana S wins on, R.N., re tired, of 3417 Montrose Bou levard, Houston, Texas, and Miss Mural Kipp. R.N. also of Houston have been honored with . S memorial plaque for the ex cellent and dedicated work they have done In the nursing pro fession. The inscribed plaque will be placed In the Doctors' Lounge of the new St. Lukes Episcopal Texas Children's Hospital in Houston. This came as a result of a contribution made to the hospital by Mr. & Mrs. TJR.. Reckling, III. Miss Swlnson graduated In 1909 from St. Agnes Hospital In Baltimore. She went to Ho uston In 1911 where she first did private duty nursing. She has nursed at St. Lukes for many years. She did most of her work In the pediatric sec tion of the hospital. Miss Swlnson was a native of the Friendship Community of Duplin County. Her sister, Mrs. M. H. Hodges resides In Warsaw. Others playing were Mrs. Joe West, Mrs. John A.
