Jones-Rouse Wedding In a lovely candlelight ceremony held at seven o'clock on Saturday evening, September 1, at the Charity United Methodist Church, Judy Ann Rouse became the bride of William Glenn Jones of Fort Bragg. The double ring ttie Reverend John Roberts of Stetkmn, former pastor at the bride. The bride ia the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Chester Rouse of Rose Hill. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. W. R. Jboaa of Wallace. The wedding vows were fledged before a setting of palms and two, fifteen branched spiral candlelabras en twined with clematis and pecnry. An open Bible was used on the altar table. Candles with greenry lighted the windows in the church of QK ntidc Drc8?fitcci A used asPtt? processional and "The Wedding March" was used as the recessional. [ The bride, who was given in marriage by her father wore a formal gown of candlelight bridal satin. The bodice of the dress, oveflaid with reem broidered cWitilly lace was SStfftOSi the dresss was bordered with chantilly lace. TO complete the bride's attire, she wore a fingertip length veil of French illusion appUqued with lace Bowers attached to a Juliet cap of lace and pearls. The dress and veil were designed and made by the bride's mother. The bride carried a white prayer book with a cascade bouQuet of red rosea and itephanotis and streamers of white satin ribbon tied with love knots and centered with a white Georgett orchid. Shirley Smith, friend of the iride, was maid of honor Miss Smith wore a formal gown of tot pink crepe featuring a ruffled neckline and hemline and a middriff of embroidered ibhon. She carried a nosegay >f red roses and inixed - daiktoa. ___ An identical outfit was worn by Lori Rob?is ofStedrnan, who waa the bridesmaid_ Little Kimberly Pane of Wilmington was flower girl ?SSy*a atttre wasl&m tical to the other attendants and she carried a wicker basket with mixed Bowers. W. R. Jones served as his eon's best man. Ushers were ? Billy Jones and James Jenesgfl brothers of the Rouse, friend of the bride, served as acolyte. The mother of the bride wore a formal length willow ~een lutesong gown featuring lone sleeves and trimmed with gold braid.
