This association of private schools objects to re porting to the State information about their school programs and certification of their teachers. Holland, Director The Kenansville Recreation Department has started regis tration for this summer's acti vities. This year a playground concept will be used in which the children can participate in skating. crafts^Jilms, story telling by the Duplin County Dorothy Wightman Library, nature club, athletics, weekly tournaments and an air ride dub. The playground will sponsor weekly special events to be hfld on Fridays. Some of these include: Hobo Day, Way-Out I Games Contest. Christmas in the Summer, and a July 4th I Watermelon Roll. The play- I ground will be in operation at Kenan Gym and will open from 11 a.m. until 6:30 p.m.. Monday through Friday, starting June 12 The ages for playground participation is 6 to 14. Registration for Boys Pee g V^ee Baseball (ages 618). Midget Girls Softball (ahes 9-12). Junior Girls Softball (ages 13-15). Boys Summer Basketball league (ages 9-13). Adult Tennis Lessons (ages 16 and up). ind_ Kids Tennis Lessons (ages 8-13) is now underway. Registration will end June 2. and anyone interested in participating in the I summer program can sign up now at the Gym from Monday through Friday, from 3 p.m. until 5)30 p.m. Also, the department is in need of volunteers to help with the summer program.
