Mr. and Mrs. Sidney
Hunter will be celebrating
their fiftieth wedding anni
versary with an open house
on Saturday, August 29,
from 7-9 p.m. at their home
in Beulaville. All their
friends and relatives are
invited to come help them
celebrate this occasion.
Harvest Day Sale
The Potters Hill Advent
Christian Church will have a
Harvest Day Sale Saturday at
the Potters Hill Ballfteld
beginning in the morning.
Activities planned from 11
a.m. to 5 p.m. include
games for all ages ? sack
race, bingo, cake walks,
dunking machine, Softball
toss and a horseshoe tour
nament. The auction starts
at 5 p.m. and Hymn Sing at
6-8:30. A country store will
feature handmade crafts,
Christmas decorations and
home canned foods.
Barbecued pork and fried
chicken dinners, hot dogs
and other snacks will be
available, along with home
made desserts and soft
drinks.
The Harvest Day Sale is
sponsored by the church
Young Fellowship group with
proceeds going to the Young
Adul^ activities.
