Warsaw Garden Club Meets The Warsaw Garden Club met at The Country Squire with 23 members and three guests on Oct. 6. Mrs. C.M. Rice, presi dent. called the meeting to order and asked members to read the Club Collect. After the delicious meal. Mrs. Rice called for reports. Mrs. Herbert Best gave the tre asurers report. Mrs. Donna Sue Williamson gave a report for Mrs. E C. Thompson on how we stand in our project of 1982. the Historical Homes booklet. Mrs. Rice reported the flea market sale of the club on Sept. 11 was a great success and thanked Mrs. W.J. Weatherly and Mrs. George Penney lor many hours of planninjf*and setting up the display garden now on exhibit at Kenan Auditorium at the Duplin County Agri business Fair, that the Club did with the help of the Duplin Nursery of Rose Hill. HATCHER COMPLETES MASTER DEGREE AT UNC-G Anthony E. Hatcher of Greensboro was among 365 persons who completed their degree requirements during summer school at the Uni versity of North Carolina at Greensboro. The students are being invited to return to the campus May 14-15 to participate in the 91st annual commencement exercises. Hatcher, a general speech major, son of Mr. and Mrs. Earl Hatcher of Kenansville, completed a master of edu cation degree. The 365 students complet ing their degrees during summer school included 10 at the doctoral level, three who finished specialist in education degrees, 141 mas ter's degree recipients and 201 undergraduates.
