A program of wedding
music was presented by Max
Blizzard, organist, and
soloist.
The bride entered the
chapel to Bridal Chorus by
Lohengrin. The recessional
was the traditional wedding
? march. Solos included "The
Twenty-third Psalm,"
"Evergreen," and "More."
As the couple left the chapel,
they presented their mothers
with red roses. The bride is
the daughter of Mr. and Mrs.
Kenneth R. Dupree of Al
bertson. Mr. and Mrs.
Warren M. Quinn Jr. of
- Kfnston are parents of the
groom.
Escorted in by her father
A and given in marriage by her
parents, the bride wore a
long white formal-length
gown of organza. Venise and
Schiffli lace. It was fashioned
with an empire waist covered
with floral lace and scattered
seed pearls. Scalloped Queen
Anne lace bordered the
neckline and back enclosure
; lined with small covered
buttons. Full bishop sleeves
A were designed with matching
floral lace bordered with
wide lace cuffs enclosed with
small covered buttons. The
full A-line skirt was designed
with a lace bordered apron
front and wide flounced lace
border which flowed into a
chapel-length train. Her
bridal hat was fashioned with
a roll brim of sheer organza
and lace, accented with a
front band of organza flow
^ ers, and the lace-covered
crown was scattered with
seed pearls. A buffer of
nvlon illusion to which was
attached the finger-tip illu
sion accentuated the back.
The bride carried a bouquet
of yellow roses, white daisies
and babies'-breath and white
ribbons tied in love knots.

Immediately following the
ceremony, the bride's
parents entertained at a re
ception in the church cultural
center. The bride's portrait
was displayed on a table
along with her bouquet. The
four-tiered wedding cake,
made by Mrs. Eleanor
Harper, was decorated with
light yellow icing trimmed
with white daisies and yellow
roses, and topped with a
miniature bride and groom.
Mrs. Joan Outlaw and Mrs.
Julia Duprce. aunts of the
bride, served the wedding
cake. Punch was poured by
Mrs. Rachel Thompson,
aunt of the bride. Other
refreshments included ham
biscuits, chicken salad puffs,
cheese ball and crackers,
roasted pecans, melon balls,
miniature tarts, chocolate

On Friday night, prior to
the rehearsal. Mr. and Mrs.
Quinn. parents of the groom,
entertained members of the
wedding party at a pig
picking at the Kinston Pistol
Range. The couple chose this
occasion to present gifts to
their attendants.

fitted sleeves were fashioned
of lace and extended to
lace-covered cuffs. The full
A-line skirt was edged in a
white accordian ruffle
trimmed in wide rows of lace
and ruffled Schiffli lace hem
line that extended into a long
chapel train accentuated with
cascading tiers of ruffled lace
edged with crystal pleated
organza. Her veil was held in
place bv a juliet cap overlaid
with beaded Alencon and
Chantilly lace. She carried a
bible covered in satin and
edged in lace topped with
white bridal silk roses ac
cented with satin ribbon
streamers.
Alicia Heath, sister of the
bride, served as her maid of
honor. The bridesmaids were
Sandy Brown of Pollocks
villc, sister of the groom;
Penny Heath of Pink Hill,
cousin of the bride; and
