Vi cup chopped fresh onion
Vi teaspoon dried leaf rosemary
% teaspoon salt
% teaspoon pepper
v? cup water
3 apples, cored and sliced crosswise
In a large skillet melt butter. Add pork chops. 3 at a time
and brown well on both sides Remove chops from skillet.
Add onion, rosemary, salt and pepper. Cook 5 minutes,
until onion is tender Stir in water Arrange pork chops and
apple slices in a shallow baking dish Add onion mixture
Cover and bake in a 350? F oven 1 hour, until pork chops
are tender Makes 6 servings

Oronge Glozed Corrot Sticks I
8 to 10 medium carrots (1 pound)
2 tablespoons butter or margarine
1/4 cup chopped fresh onion
1/3 cup packed light brown sugar
1/2 cup fresh orange juice
1/2 teaspoon salt
Pare carrots and cut into sticks by cutting in half
lengthwise, then into lengthwise quarters and H
eighths In a large skillet cook the carrots, covered,
in a small amount of water until tender Remove
carrots from skillet Heat butter in same skillet, add
onion and cook until tender Stir m brown sugar and
orange tuice. simmer 5 minutes Add cooked I
carrots, sprinkle with salt and spoon sauce over
