Beulaville News % Rev. and Mn. Rashie Kennedy had all their chil dren with them for Thanks giving. Mr. and Mrs. Beverly Shea Kennedy and four chil dren of Baton Rouge. La spent the week, leaving on Saturday. R.J. Kennedy and family of Columbia, S.C. spent the holiday. Their daughter, Hilda Grace Mills and girls, all home from college for the holidays, joined the family in Golds bo ro Thursday. Mrs. Ottis Miller had all her children with her Thanksgiving Day. They in cluded Mr. and Mrs. Ottis Jere Mi'ler and family and Truman Miller and Willie Miller. Friday her daughter, Barbara and husband Don and daughter, Julia, joined them for the weekend. Saturday her son Burnell and his two children and a friend. Ronnie, joined the weekend holiday. Mr. and Mrs. Leo Brown visited her uncle in a rest home in Mount Olive Sun day. Mr. and Mrs. Joe Hill Rhodes and Rayburn and Scottie spent the Thanks giving holiday with Mr. and Mrs. Archie Muldrow and family in Fayetteville. They were joined by Tommy Rhodes and family of Raleigh for the day. Randy Sandlin of Greens boro was home for the holiday with his parents. Mr. and Mrs. LJ. Sandlin. Mr. and Mrs. Monk Whaley and family, Mr. and Mrs. Colon Whaley and Mr. and Mrs. Mack Rhodes spent the holiday with their sister. Rev. and Mrs. Lynwood Ed wards and family in Darling ton, S.C. Mrs. Sam Blizzard had her children and grandchildren with her for Thanksgiving Day dinner. Mr. and Mrs. Marion Ed wards had their children and grandchildren with them for the Holiday. Dot Edwards was also witii them. The Russell Laniers of Wrightsville Beach were home for the holidays with their children, grandchildren and Mrs. Lanier's mother and sister. Mr. and Mrs. Nick Hodges of Charlotte spent the holi days with Mrs. Clyde Brinson. Charlie Lanier of Jackson ville spent the holidays here with his parents and family. Dr. Sylvia Brown and Jes sica of -Greenville spent Thursday with Mr. and Mrs. P.E. Thigpen and Mr. and Mrs. Macon. Mr. and Mrs. Richard Bostic spent Thanksgiving Day with Mr. and Mrs. Richey Bostic and family in Kinston. Mr. and Mrs. Dallas Rhodes and son Kelly have moved into their new home on the Old Chinquapin Road. College Students home for the holidav included: Dar ,ene Hunter with Mr. and Mrs. Sidney Hunter; Renee Blizzard with Mr. and Mrs. Elton Blizzard; Paul Bolin Jr. and the Robert Mercers and baby of Chapel Hill with Mrs. Bolin and the Dunns in Kenansville; Gina Lar.ier with Mr. and Mrs. Jimmy Lanier; Richard F. Williams with Mr. and Mrs. Richard Williams; Lynette Maready with Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Maready and Neil. Rev. and Mrs. Leonard Doucettc and children of Raleigh spent the holidays with Mrs. P.C. Shaw and A.F. Shaw and family. Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Rhodes and Mr. and Mrs. Earl Gresham spent the holiday with Mr. and Mrs. Bill Leonard at Atlantic Beach in Florida. Bobbie Miller, student, was home for the holidays. Carroll Ncnneuy ol Kinston spent Thanksgiving with Bessie Kennedy and Elmo Kennedy. Dino Bostic. A Navy officer stationed in Philade.phia. Pa. was home for the holi days. Chris Kennedy of Raleigh spent the holidays with his grandparents. Mr. and Mrs. Colon Whaley. Sammie Whaley of Surf City visited Mr. and Mrs. James L. Whaley Saturday. Mrs. Ransom Mercer re turned after spending the holidays with Stanley Bratcher in South Carolina. Mrs. Gordon Kennedy had her children with her for Thanksgiving. Employees of Interstate Finance in Clinton held a barbecue dinner Wednes day, with David Parker cook ing the pig. Mr. and Mrs. Julian Lanier and Julia and Joni of Knightsdale spent the holi days with Mr. and Mrs. Graham Lanier and her parents of Chinquapin. Leland Cottle of Raleigh visited Mrs. Shelton Cottle on the weekend. Rev. and Mrs. Garland Foushee spent Thanksgiving in SanforJ with their children and mother. Mr. and Mrs. Hallie Guy visited Willie Owen Guy and Gordon Kennedy in Lenoir Memorial Hospital in Kinston Saturday. Lottie Mae Cottle visited Willie F. Miller in Craven Hospital in New Bern Satur day. He was a surgery patient there. Mr. and Mrs. Brown Ken nedy visited Carmel E. Clapp in Durham County Hospital Sunday. The Cecil Hunters of Jack sonville spent Thanksgiving with Mr. and Mrs. Sidney Hunter. Irma Matthews Batts was scheduled for minor surgery in Chapel Hill. Lula Quinn Parker was scheduled to enter Pitt Memorial Hospital in Green ville for eye surgery. Bessie Kennedy returned after a tour of Epcit. Disnev World and other places of interest in Florida. Gurley-Holmes Wedding R.F. Gurley and Ada Holmes spoke their wedding vows on Saturday in Dillon. SC. Mrs. Holmes is the former Ada Surtiner Holmes, daughter of the late David and Sallie Sumner of Beula ville (Cabin community). Gurley is the son of the late Henry and Peggie Gurley of Johnson County, and is em ployed by the state Highway Department in Duplin County.
