Increase In NAACP Membership Drive There was a sharp increase in volunteers for Duplin's 1983 NAACP membership drive, according to R.E. Wilkins, state membership chairman. "This may indi cate a deeper concern of Blacks of the economy," he said. "Blacks are usually the last hired and first fired." Big Zion A.M.E.Z.
