To help prevent painful accidents and save young lives. The Duplin County Health Department. Goshen Medical Center and other volunteers are working to establish an infant safety seat rental program in the county. The program will offer car seats on loan to mothers bringing babies home from the hospital and infants up to age one. The car seats will be rented for a small charge on a first-come, first-served basis. Another goal of the program will be to educate the community on the im portance of chiid restraints. The program hopes to start off with a total of 30 seats. At the present time we arc seeking donations from indi viduals and groups to help in the purchase of these seats.
