Boney was hostess for the Kenansville Kontract Klub Thursday night with Mesdames Doris Sitterson, Hazel Scott and ^ Milta King substituting for the absent members. Be tween progressions, the hostess served cherry kringle, toasted paeans and coffee. A red and white color scheme was emphasized. Mrs. George Penney won high score prize for members and Mrs. Scott for the visit ing plavers. The colsolation prize was presented to Mrs. ? Faison McGowen. The Bridgettes Three tables were in play Thursday night when the Bridgettes met with Beth Brinson. Mesdames Sue Tyner, Norma Guy and Judy Car substituted for three absent members. Barbara McKay won high score prize, Judy Carr second, and Kay Stroud carried home the traveling prize. For refresh ments, Mrs. Brihson served strawberry-nut cake and coffee or coke. Baptist Valentine Party The median adult class of the local Baptist Church en tertained the 50-and-uppers class at a Valentine party Wednesday night. About 80 people gathered in the fel lowship hall of the church for a covered-dish supper. After a delightful meal, for which the Rev. Lauren Sharpe asked the blessing, an enjoyable program was presented. The theme of the meeting was LOVE. Vickie Alabaster sang several solos and led the group in singing several songs on the theme. A group of school children, ages 6 to 12, called the "Twirlalongs" under the direction of Tina Long, did several drills and Tina did a solo ballet number.
