Duplin Business/Industry/ i Agriculture To Be Surveyed The vocational education programs in Duplin County ^hools are conducting a survey of local employers to determine whether the voca tional programs are ade quately serving the area. According to Robert C. Tart Jr., director of the vocational education in local schools, "We are trying to collect information which will enable us to decide whether nciv vocational programs are needed or if we need to ffvise existing programs to etter meet the needs of students and the com munity." In an effort to evaluate and improve the programs in .Dtiplin County, business, in dustry and agricultural em ployers are asked to co operate by answering the mailed survey forms and returning the form in the self-addressed envelopes by April 1st. The forms should be returned to Vocational Education, Duplin Countv Schools, P.O. Box 128, Kenansville, NC 28349. The forms will be mailed to employers during the week of March 14, according to Tart. On March ft from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m.. u.i over-the-hump party is being planned for workers to assess their needs and proclaim their successes for the month-long drive, which will then be entering its third week. The party will be at the BB&T building in Wallace with Kathy and Wade Reece and Wendell Murphy as hosts.
