again play in the annual LP
Gas Golf Tournament staged
each year at Lakewood
Country Club located
between Kenansville and
Magnolia. Pro Doug Smith
expects a good turnout this
week (April 21st) and was
pleased to announce Abbie
will again be here and parti
cipate.

Club Pro Rick Murphy re
ports the team of Gene and
Ctif Rose won the two-man
invitational held at his club
this past weekend with
rounds of 67-68. Nelson Pre
cythe and W.K. Lewis came
in second with a 67-69,
followed in third was the
twosome of Tom Johnson
and Woody Caton with a
69-69. Murphy was pleased
with the 40 teams participat
ing in the spring event.

Rockfish Pro Jim Finch
announces an Adult/Juniors
golf tourney on tap next
Sunday, April 24. "We have
been so wet with all the
recent rains," Finch said.
Rockfish will host the Har
rell's golf team and four
other schools on April 21st.
Rockfish will again stage the
annual Spring Fest two-man
best ball May 21-22. Finch
and clubmember Ronnie
Boone will play in the Pro
President tournament at
Highland CC in Fayetteville
on Friday of this week.

will enjoy a special short
