Taking Care Of The Bills If you're a person with too much month and not enough money, don't panic. There arc some things you can do to get your finances straight ened out. The first thing is to realize exactly where you stand. Make a list of all your bills and then figure out how much of your income you can use to pay them off. Next, look for ways to increase your income. Can you sell some things that you no longer use? Could you turn a hobby or skill into a money-maker? Then, if you've v/rked out all the possibilities for addi tional income and still come up short of funds, talk with your creditors. Explain your problem to them. Often creditors are willing to accept smaller payments over a longer period. Once you work out a short term solution, take a look at your bill payment patter. If you often have too many bills with too little money, take a good look at where your money is going. Keep records of w hat you buy and figure out ways to spend less. You might find a writ ten spending plan helpful. Last, but not least, get the cooperation of your whole family in sticking to the financial game plan. No one will feel cheated if he has helped decide what to buy and what.to avoid. THE 1982-83 SCHOOL YEAR has been a productive one for Mrs. Wilson's third graders at Pink Hill School. The students have been involved in numerous activities. Jeni Tule received a perfect attendance certificate. Sue Ann Smith received the annual Poetrv Award.
