' Moser-Miller United In Marriage ? On Saturday, the twenty eighth of May, a candlelight service was held uniting Sonja Yvette Miller of Raleigh and Dr. Wade Hauser Moser, Jr., also of Raleigh in marriage. The , Reverend Madison Highfill lead the double-ring cere mony held at the Hallsville Presbyterian Church, Beula ville. _ The bride is the daughter 9 of Mr. and Mrs. Robert L. Miller of Beulaville. The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Mitchell M. King of Winston-Salem and the late Wade Hauser Moser, Sr. The couple chose a clas sical wedding service which was begun with a prelude of sacred and classical music presented by Edgar Wells, pianist and Mary Brown, organist. Martha Pierce of 9 Clinton sang and Eddie Thig pen performed on the trumpet. The bride was escorted by her father. The bride chose from the House of Banchi an exqui sitely styled gown of peau de soie covered with English tulle and beaded Lyon lace consisting of seed pearls and ? sequins which featured a P fitted natural waistline covered with a satin belt, long fitted lace sleeves and a chapel-length sweep train. The gown also featured a tulip style high neckline, scalloped peplum and a repeated scalloped border along a V* -length tier of lace and again along the bottom of the gown. The sleeves and back of the gown were both ? styled with covered bridal buttons. The chapel-length veil was an original design created with bridal illusion which was softly gathered into a fitted Juliet cap. The cap was also covered with the beaded Lyon lace which featured seed pearls and sequins and a small ruffled border. Lace appliques also enhanced the side border of the veil with w one large focal applique creating a unique design at the bottom of the veil. The bride carried a cas cade bouquet of gardenias and stephanoitis enhanced with a background of varie gated pitisporum. Along with her bouquet, the bride also chose to carry a Russian hand-embroidered linen and _ lace handerkerchief. V Ginny Williams of Atlanta, Georgia, was the bride's maid of honor. Miss Wil liams wore a tea-length gown of lace emhellished chiffon over taffeta, styled with a high lace neckline, long lace cuffed sleeves and a fitted natural waistline featuring a ruby colored satin belt. She carried a hand-picked bouquet of red roses, white ^ button mums, a dusty rose carnation, and white daisies interspersed with fern and baby's breath and accented with ivorv lace ribbon. Bridesmaids were April Dean of Raleigh, Sylvia Dumont of Greensboro, Donna Fowler of Chinqua pin. Debbie Harden of Atlanta, Jane Hahn of Rich mond. Virginia, and Gina Lanier of Beulaville. Their gowns and bouquets were identical to those of the maid of honor. Mitchell M. King of Winston-Salem was his son's best man. Groomsmen were Boyd C'ombs of Raleigh. Dr. Fuller Honeycutt of Raleigh. Bob Miller of Beulaville, brother of the bride. Dr. Alex Moser of Winston-Salem, brother of the groom, led Rhodes of Fayetteville. and Larry Shealv of Raleigh. The groom and groomsmen were attired in formal black tails with each wearing a bouton niere of white stephanotis. The mother of the bride _ wore a formal gown of peri winkle blue chiffon over taf feta fashioned with a lace trimmed bodice and long sneer sleeves with titted lace cuffs. The soft flowing skirt fell from a natural waistline featuring a chiffon belt. The groom's mother wore a formal gown of pink chiffon over taffeta styled with an embroidered bodice, a high ruffled neckline and long fitted sleeves with ruffled cuffs. The softly gathered skirt was accented with a matching pink chiffon belt and natural waistline. Both mothers carried hand bou quets of red roses, bakers fern and baby's breath ac cented with matching ribbon. Seated as honored guests were Ava T. Hall of Pink Hill, maternal grandmother of the bride; and Ash Miller of Bculaville. paternal grand father of the bride. Cathy Quinn of Greenville presided at the bride's re gister while Amy Williams was program distributor. The wedding was directed by Mrs. Melvin Bostic of Kenansville. Reception Immediately following the cfeemony. the bride's parents hosted a reception at their home. The register table was attended by Amy Williams. Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Williams greeted guests. Mrs. Wilbur Hussey and Mrs. Joey Brinkley assisted in serving the guests. Dr. and Mrs. Marshall Quinn invited guests to the beautifully lanscaped back lawn. Mrs. George Hawes and Mrs. Roger Hall served cake to the guestt assemble.', on the back lawn. Mrs. Jimmy Futrell served punch from a stiver bowl. Selections were performed on the harp by Mrs. Charles Morehead of Raleigh. Good-byes were said near the patio to Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Cottle. Lou Ann Fountain and Amy Williams assisted in serving. Doug Grady and Eddie Kennedy assisted the guests in parking their cars. Mrs. Morris Grady dir ected the reception and was hostess-at-large. The bride is graduate of the University of North Caro lina at Chapel Hill. She is a medical technologist at Rex Hospital Blood Bank in Raleigh. The bridegroom is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He is a radiologist at Capital Radiologist Asso ciates. Community Hospital, Raleigh. Rehearsal Dinner Immediately following re hearsal onFriday evening. May 27, Mr. and Mrs. Mitchell M. King of Winston-Salem, parents of the groom, entertained the wedding party, family, friends, and out-of-town guests at the Country Squire, Kenansville. Pre-Nuptial Courtesies i ?? IIIV aiiu Cheese Party The home of April Dean of Kaleigh was the setting for a wine and cheese party honor ing bridal couple-elect Yvette Miller and Dr. Wade Moser. Other hosts and hostesses were Ginny Williams of Atlanta. Mr. and Mrs. Mel Fowler of Chinquapin, and Gina Lanier of Beulaville. Wedding Shower Miss Miller and Dr. Moser were honored at the home of Dora Cline in Raleigh with a miscellaneous wedding shower. The highlight of the even ing came with everyone gathered around to watch Miss Miller open many lovely gifts. Those attending the shower were all employ ees and their spouses of Rex Hospital Blood Bank in Raleigh where Miss Miller is also employed. Bridal Luncheon The Graham House Inn, Kenansville. was the setting for a bridal luncheon. Miss Miller., the honoree, was presented a pink rose bud corsage. Mrs. 'Jerry Williams wel comed the guests and Mrs. Morris Grady offered a blessing. Honoring Miss Miller were Mrs. Jerry Williams and Mrs. Jimmy Futrell. both of Beulaville. Approximately 25 guest attended. Lawn Buffet The home of Mr. and Mrs. Roger Hall of Pink Hill provided the setting for a lawn bufiet honoring Miss Miller and Dr. Moser. Upon arrival Yvette was pinned with a corsage ot White daisies. Other hosts and hostesses for the lovely occasion in cluded Mr. and Mrs. George Hawes of Rose Hill and Mr. and Mrs. Christopher Lewis of Raleigh. Bridesmaid Luncheon On Friday, May 27, at one o'clock Mrs. Mark Harden of Atlanta and Mrs. Leo Weston of Pink Hill enter tained bride-elect Yvette Miller with a luncheon at the Graham House Inn. Kenans ville. A corsage of white carna tions was presented to Miss Miller. Flowers were also given to Mrs. Bobby Miller, mother of the bride, and Mrs. Mitchell King, mother of the groom. Wedding Breakfast Miss Miller and Dr. Moser were honored with a wedding breakfast at eleven o'clock in the morning Saturday, May 28, at the Country Squire in Kenansville. Mr. and Mrs. Bobby Miller and Ash Miller hosted the occasion. B.F. Grady Honors Volunteers The regular volunteers at B.F. Grady School were re cently honored by the P.T.F. during its final meeting. Receiving tokens of appre ciation were Nell Rogers, Diana Herring, Barbara Robinson, and Marsha Britt. President Way land Southerland called the meet ing to order. Gary Harper offered the invocation and Joan Southerland read the minutes and gave the trea surer's report. The chorus under the direction of Mrs. Karen ( Casteen and the band direct ed by Mr. Ricky Long gave their final concerts. During the business ses sion.
