Friday night with a 31 - 6 victory.
James Kenan Hosts Hobbton
In Big East Central Game

Mark Ellenberg came off the
bench and directed James
Kenan's attack last Friday
nijght in a big East Central
win over Midway 32-6. The
ATigcrs remain unbeaten in
the ECC with a 3-0 record
and 4-1 overall, while Mid
way dropped to 1-3 ECC
mark and 1-5-0.
The Tiger starting quarter
back Chuck Grady, was in
juied in the early part of the
game with JK leading 12-0,
and was replaced by Ellcn
berg. Coach Billy Byrd was
very pleased with Ellen
berg's performance. Speedy
Faison scored three touch

downs and rushed for 211
yards in JK's win over the
Raiders. Fullback Chuck An
derson bulled for 127 yards,
scored one TD from 14 yards,
led the defense in one of the
best performances ever for
James Kenan with 11 tackles
and two sacks. Another Tiger
who has been outstanding on
both offense and defense is
Ray Cooke. He has the nose
to smell out the ball most of
the time. Kelvin Bell played
a good game for the Tigers
against the Raiders. Un
beaten James Kenan will
host Hobbton this week at
Tiger Field and your support
will be welcomed. The Wild
cats, considered one of the
better teams in the league
this year, and the Tigers will
need your full support.
