Outlaw and Margaret Dail.
Since Mrs. Taylor's poem for
Carolyn Outlaw was pre
viously printed, the one for
Margaret Dail follows:
In Memory of
Margaret 0. Dail
Our Cod still sits on the
throne on high
Watching below as the days
go by
He muses there with a heaw
heart
Grieving for those who from
life must part
Some of them will be good,
some will be bad
But no matter which, to Him
it is sad
Let this be one who had done
no harm
Who is calm and quiet and
has some charm
Let it be one who is sedate
and serene
One who has no meanness in
all her being
One who has little temper, is
not easily upset
One who will be rememberd.
no one will forget
One who is gentle and loving
and kind
One who keeps other people
in mind.
Let this be one who loves the
Lord
Who obeys his teachings
with sweet accord
Now He thought and gave a
great sigh
1 must do it now, the time is
night
The angels descended with
the speed of a dove
And carried Margaret
Dail's spirit to the heaven
above.
