Letter To The Editor t . i n j:? id me Conor: Our family has recently been through a period of grief and sorrow. Our mother went to be with the Lord Feb. 20, 1983. She died in Guardian Care in Kenansville, N.C. Approximately 18 months ago, due to circumstances beyond our .control, we had to seek a place for our invalid mother to be cared for. We were fortunate to be able to place her in Guardian Care. During the time she was in ; Guardian Care she received very good care. 1 have never been in a nursing home that gives any better level of care. Each person who ministered to our mother showed a I spirit of real compassion and treated her with understanding and love. Unless a person has had to place a loved one in a nursing home, it is 1 hard to understand the feeling of helplessness that a family suffers " and many times there is much criticism. However, I want to thank God for a facility like Guardian Care that can furnish care to people we love when it is impossible to do it ourselves. 1 would like to say to anyone who has to place a loved one in a home away from home. Guardian Care in Kenasville is a good place to be. The family of Leona Boney By: Mary P. Boney, R.N.
