Carter Wallace Elementary Starts DCAC School Fund Drive With a grand total of $687.75, Wallace Elementary School has launched the Duplin County Arts Council school fund drive for the 1984-85 year. Aiso, the school drive marks the he?innino of a ramnaion in the Wallace business and residen tial community. Those businesses, civic groups and persons who have not contributed may do so by sending their tax-deductible contri bution to the Duplin County Arts Council, P.O. Box 36, Kenansville, NC 28349 All schools in the county are eligible for a free spring concert sponsored by the AC once the results PRAYER BREAKFAST The Deep Run Ladies Praver Breakfast will be held April 8 at 7:30 a.m. at the B & S Cafe in Deep Run with Dr. Alice Smith Scott speaking. The drive will run throughout until April 13 and may be extended if the schools determine a need to do that. . Crime Of The Week Kinston police officers are investi gating 10 burglaries in the northwest Kinston area since Feb. 18. Items taken include silver, gold rings, gold coins, coin collections, jewelry, hand guns, rifles and shotguns. A Lenoir County Crime Stoppers will pay for information leading to the arrest and indictment of the burglar or burglars. The amount of the reward depends on the seriousness of the crime and value of the information. Anyone having information in this crime or any crime is asked to call Crime Stopper, 523-4444; weekdays from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Callers need not give their names.
