Mr John L Eaton Is going to move to L an drum, where he has se cured positions for his family in the Blue Ridge Hosiery mill. The Misses Hendersons are pro gressing nicely with the school and anticipate a public entertainment for Christmas. Mrs E A Westall has returned to Lynn after a three weeks stay in Asheville with relatives and friends. Mr Loyd Panther of the U S Navy stationed on the ship, Delaware at Norfolk Va, visited his mother for ten days. He returned to the Navy last Friday am. A remarkable coincidence at the home of Mr and Mrs W F Swann, Thanksgiving day. Four generations of the Swann family, D H Swann old est son of his family, W F Swann, oldest son of D H Swann's family, Fred E Swann oldest son of W F Swann's family, and William Fred Jr, oldest son of Fred E Swann. D H Swann raised a family of twelve children all living except one son. w F Swann, & family of four all liv ing except one daughter. Fred E Swann a family of two, one daughter dead. The people above mentioned live on joining lands. R E Hoocker, formerly of Lynn has moved back here he will work in the hosiery mill. W F Swann met with a very, pain ful accident Friday morning , while assisting Mr Bird of Log Cabin Inn, with a pair of mules he was severely kicked by one of the mules, sustain ing bad bruises. He is confined to his room under the care of Dr M C Palmer, but is better at this wriiing Mr C C Constant is progressing nicely with the new Howard Gap and Saluda road. The people in this section will be delighted when they can get the view of Warrior mountain from a carriage on a nice drive.
