Mrs. Alice Gilbert who has had the pneumonia following the flu, is much better. Mrs. Branscom received word of the, death of her sister, Mrs. Ross, of Dayton, Ohid, which occurred last Thursday. Mrs. Ross has visited here several time and was well be loved by all who knew her for she was a kind, gentle woman and a de vout christian. Mrs. Morris who ,has been sick for some time is getting around again. Mr. Rowland Feagan arrived home from Camp Hancock, one day last week. School is in progress here, and it is feared the epidemic may be spread thereby. There is to be a box supper at the school building here, next Saturday night.- Mr. Clarence Prince arrived home from Camp Jackson, last Friday. Mr. I. L. Searcy, also Mr. and Mrs. G. C. Feagan, visited Mr. and Mrs. W. Stacy, Sunday. There have been quite a number of fine porkers butchered Jiere, and still som fine ones to butcher later on , then the moon gets right again.
