to obtain -the" best results in poultry
raising, we recommend a systematic
organization of the poultry raisers of
Polk county, and appeal to all f ar-

members of the v Poultry. Association
and cooperate in the' standardization
of pure bred fowls. ' .
There is no feci required of persons
desiring to become members of the
association, and the only obligation
required of the members is to raise
pure bred ' fowls - only. It is not nec
essary . to dispose of your present stock
of fowls, but to discard from the
flock all roosters except pure stock of
some standard breed, and gradually
work up to, a pure bred flock. ,
