New Tork City, is our sole tod exclusive Foreign Advertising Agent. kind of a misunderstanding with one of his mules one day last week and wherefore Mr. T. proceeded to mount so as to be in better position 6 have his orders or desires carried out, but just at the twinkling of the eye his muleship seriously objected to his master's mount and therefore, before before a compromise could be made Mr. T. found himself 10 or 15 parts of a hundred feet from Mr. Mule with a very painful and serious experience, a collar bone broken. At this time he is getting along nicely. Judging from the amount of build ing material that is being hauled up the mountain there is something do ing up there. You had better keep your eye on these mountain people. High prices and high cost of living don't affect them much, they are just living higher than other folks by several hundred feet. , "Long May It Wave." We have been informed that a num ber of our young folks are contem v plating leaving Polk county to attend ... school this year. Don't do it unless you are going to the State University or some similar institution. Profit by the experience of others and attend our County High School. . We have been reliably informed that there are some parties who left Polk thinking they were attending a better school and would have no trouble in getting State certificates to teach, but upon application for state certificate were told that they had not been attending an accredited school and consequently could not be granted a state certifi cate. On the other hand, graduates of our County High School are grant ed state certificates. The difference is this. By leaving your county you are put to more expense, and if you wish to teach school you can only get $40 per month, insterd of $65 you would receive had you attended your County High School. Is the pleasure of going off to school worth the differ ence? We think not. Why People Buy Bat-Snap in Pre ference to Bat Poison. (1) BAT-SNAP absolutely kills rats, and mice.
