know that the road leading from the

Green Biyer school is to begin a
six moths term next Monday The

teacher school at Green River next
year. We are only wishing him the

A joint debate between Melvin Hill
and Green River is scheduled for next
Saturday night. Everybody is invited
and especially the ladies, as the de
bate will thoroughly explain why the
women should vote. Also why they
should not.

M. N. L. Edwards, of , Rutherford
ton, made a very interesting talk

the Baptist church, Sunday afternoon.
Am sure those present were inspired
by his talk and are willing to do their
part in going "over the top." -as we
always do in any kind of drive. We

Misses Ruth Byers, of Route z,
and Esther Gibbs went to Steedly's
hospital at Spartanburg last Monday
to have their tonsils and adenoids
