Last Sundav was a red letter . dav
with the Congregationalists of Tryon.
The minister, Mr. Black, preached in
the morninc on "Christ. Th Creat. "Ex
ample of Democracy." In the After
noon the selected teams braved the
mud and rain, making the house to
nouse visitation. In the evening the
membership of the church met the
teams at the parsonage to hear their
report, and to enjoy a socially reli
gious event. Tables were spread by
some of the ladies, after a simple,
though delicious luncheon, the various
problems of the church were discus
sea m brief informal addresses by
