However we have harvested the greater part of our cotton crop, and have nothing much to do but spend the money we received for it. ; r ; Green River school opened this; time in a new up-to-date building. We r congratulate ourselves on having such a nice building, also on having three good teachers who are working to make Green River school the best -:, in the county. We hope their efforts will hot be in vain and that the time will soon coirie when we will have a real high school. A most beautiful birthday party was given last Monday evening by Miss Mamie Gantrell, in honor of Miss" Armenia Searcy.
