Palace in Le ningrad the former Georgicvsky 1 throne room which was built after i the fire of 1837 has been com j pleted. The newspaper "Dawn of I the East" says it has been renamed i "The Hall of the Soviet Union" and from May 1 it became the per : manent home of the famous 27 me ter-square map of the USSR made Of precious stones. The map now stands where the imperial throne once stood. The map has also been reconstructed since it was exhibit ed abroad. Changes have been made in all its 98 sections, each of which consists of 550 parts.
