Coach Hewlett stands to the left. Under the coaching of Andy Hewlett, a for mer coach of Davidson college, this football team eetablished a record in 1931 of winning all of the ten games played that season. This is a record that had never been attained up to that time nor has it since been equalled by a team of the local school. Only 37 points were made by the opponents cf this team over the entire season. Starting the season with a lot of new recruits. Coach' Hewlett whipped them into shape as a record-breaking team. Mr. Bruton has eioressed enoueh interest in the sports page to send us, enclos ed with his letter, a dionine of an article by Kyle Cox in the San frrd Herald of June 17.
