' Wa ape Mrd Ipe wil Miss Befsy Stallings Honored at Bridge Pariy Miss Betsy Stalling.?, bride-elect of July 18, was honored at a de lightful bridge party given Friday evening by Mrs. George Phillips and Mrs. A. T. Leary at Mrs. Phil lips' home on Bridges Street. Peach and white gladiolf were attractively arranged throughout the living room and in the dining room with a lovely arrangement of fruit. Each table was centered with an angel food cake iced in green and decorated in pink rosebuds with a center of strawberry ice cream ' which was served with salted nuts I and ginjier ale. Knives to cut the I cakes were covered with satins rib bons and flowers and placed on cacti table while the brides table was adorned with a miniature bride and groom. Table prizes were pure silk scarfs and were won by Mrs. Bill l'eriigo, Mrs. W. B. Chalk, Mrs. Virginia Purifoy, and Mrs. Taylor Vernon while the low score prize, pearl earrings, went to Mrs. H. D. Approximately fifteen friends called during the afternoon and enjoyed delicious refreshments of iced drinks with party sandwiches and decorated cakes.
