Beaufort Yacht Trophies Become Rotating Awards 4 At its weekly meeting Tuesday tiight, the Beaufort Yacht club rul ed that henceforth trophies award ed at the end of their summer se ries of sailboat races may be re tained one year until the begin ning of the next series. Only club members may win trophies. Formerly, any participant in the traces could hoid a trophy perma nently after winning it three con secutive years. After his arrest, Miller claimed his wife was equally guilty of as sault because, said Miller, she had attacked him before he attacked her. He said he was running away from her, then turned in self defense. Alfred Pitt man, skipper of the Lois Nancy reported catching a wahoo, another fighting tropical fish, a few days ago. Wahoo are seldom taken along the North Carolina coast. Food Handlers to Meet In Fall, Health Officer Says A meeting of the food handlers of Carteret county is being planned for. sometime in the fall, Dr. N. Thomas Ennett, county health of ficer, said today. The meeting will take place at Ihe county health department in Beaufort, and several moving pic tures on fond handling will be shown. Dr. Ennett explained that all food handlers In the county must have certificates and that each are given tuberculin and blood tests. The lood handlers' certificates are kept by their employers and are returned to the health department whin employees leave their jobs.
