Emma Beechem and a party from South River at tended church service at Harkers Island on Sunday. Mr. George Dixon, who has been visiting here, returned to his home in Norfolk, Va. last week. Mrs. Emily Nelson accompanied him home. , Mrs. J. D. Nelson and son, C. B. Nelson attended church service in Morehead City on Sunday night. Mr. and Mrs. Tom Carraway, of Beaufort, and Mr. and Mrs. Dick Emer, of Cherry Point, spent the weekend at home with their par ents, Mr. and Mrs. P. F. Carraway. Mr. and Mrs. Pete Becton and children, of Beaufort, spent Sun day with Mr. and Mrs. P. F. Carraway. Mrs. Ruben Wallace is on the sick list. We trust she will soon be better. Colonel and Mrs. Walker, of Cherry Point, spent awhile on Sun day afternoon with Mr. and Mrs. G. M. Carraway. Mrs. W. F. Wyatt, Mr. Henry Wyatt, Miss Bessie Wyatt of Golds boro and Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Wyatt of Raleigh recently spent the day with Mrs. G: M. Carraway! Mr. and Mrs. Albert McNeil and children, of Beaufort, spent Sun day with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. H. D. Carraway. , Mr. and Mrs. Julian Fulcher and daughter, of Morehead City, spent the weekend with her parents, Mr, and Mrs. Ruben Wallace. Mr. and Mrs. G. . M. Carraway and Mrs. Daniel visited Mr. and Mrs. Ruben 'Wallace a short while on Sunday afternoon. Mr. and Mrs. Fred Beaver and little daughter, Diana, of More head City, spent Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Beechum. Rev. W. D. Caviness, of More head City, met with the building committee of the church here on Monday night. Plans were discuss ed to remodel the church. Mr. Frank Mason was taken ill on Sunday morning, had the doc tor to him and he is much im proved. The Mcrrimon Home Demonstra tion club met with Mrs. George Pittman on Monday afternoon with seven members present. After a very interesting demonstration of ready to wear clothing by our home agent, Mrs. Lloyd Gillikin. Mrs. Pittman served coca cola and cookies.
