the home of the bride's brother in
Beaufort on Saturday, October 30.
The Reverend Jolliff, of Newport,
performed the ceremony by candle
light at 5 o'clock in the afternoon.

lor, as his best man.
The bride's mother wore a gray
dress with black accessories and a
corsage of white carnations.
Following the wedding a cake
cutting was given for the bridal
couple at the home of Mr. and
Mrs. Philip A. Taylor. The tradi
tional three-tiered wedding cake
was served with lime punch, mints
and nuts.
The bridal couple then left for a
short wedding trip to unannounced
points.
Upon their return they will be at
home in Harlowe.

gardenia shoulder corsage.'

had been cut by the bridal couple,
Miss Hilda Dement, of Raleigh,
served the cake to the guests.
Mrs. K. W. Taylor presided at the
punch bowl and assisted in serving
block cake with mints and mixed
nuts.

Immediately after the ceremony
the couple left for a wedding trip
to the western part of the state.

the wedding rehearsal a party was
given for members of the wedding
party at the home of Mrs. Olund.
Open fuce sandwiches, with
pickles, nuts and cokes were serv
ed. Beautiful fall flowers were
arranged throughout the home.
