Snpa Bows Before Beaufort Green and While Takes Fifth Straight Win at Smyrna Tuesday Beaufort cagers took their fifth straight win of the season Tuesday night when they defeated Smyrna at Smyrna in a return game. They will make an effort to continue their record when they meet Ori ental at Oriental Tuesday night, Nov. 30. The boys took their game with h 35 15 score while the gills just squeezed through with a one-point margin, 23-22. High scorer for the boys was Halsey Willis with 12 points, fol lowed by Pal Fodrie with 10, Jim Pincr 8, Blankcnship 2. and Owens 1. In the starting lineup were Pi ner, Charles Stuart, A. C. This second doubleheader wound up the same as the first, in Morehead's favor. The girls brought in a score of 28-1.1 and the hovs landslided with the score of 70-23. The games both started out to be anybody's ball game with very little difference in the scores but it wasn't long before Morchead started climbing. Elsie Willis, cap tain and forward, fouled out in the beginning of the third quarter with 4 personals, after. having shot six shots. High for Morehead was Pattie'Bell with 12 followed close behind by Nancy Dcrrickson with 10. Line-up for the Atlantic boys team for the first quarter was Don Hamilton, who scored 20 points during the game; Rodney Smith, who shot 7 . points, J. Rose, who jacked up 8 points, Roscoc Salter and Bernard Nelson. The starting line-up for the Beaufort team was W. Grant, shooting 2 points, C. Chappcll. Longdate, center who racked up 12 points, Plazzo, guard who added 1 point and A. Chappcll who made 8 shots. In the second quarter both teams sent In substitutes, even though Atlantic was leading by a score of 12 to 0.
