Taylor, Em ma Oglesby and Will Conner spent Tuesday in New Bern buying gifts for the church school Christmas tree. Mrs. J. 0. Barbour, of Beaufort, and Mrs. Ashton H. Tallman, of near Beaufort, passed through Wednesday afternoon enroute home from Bachelor. Mrs. Geo. W. Ball and Mrs. Char lie Bell were in New Bern Tues day. They were accompanied by Mrs. Earl Dickinson, of Core Creek. Mrs. Ashby B. Morton and Mrs. W. C. Williams spent Wednesday at Bachelor with Mrs. Claude Tay lor and attended the meeting o the Woman's Society of Chirstian service. Mesdames Cicero W. Taylor and Earl Webb Temple and children were in Beaufort Wednesday after noon to see Santa Clans, f Mr. and Mrs. William Taylor and son; Mr. and Mrs. James L. Smith, Jr. and son, Jimmie, Mrs. Fletcher Taylor, Mrs. Geors'e Carraway and sons, Mrs. Elmo Taylor and Mrs Kred Smith of Bachelor passed through Wednesday afternoon en route to Beaufort.- Mrs. Carl H. Morton spent Thursday in Beaufort with Mrs. Dallas Sadler. Mesdames Waller Guy Temple, Edsel Boll, W. Ktich Williams, Roy Mason. Gordon Becton and Xeno phon Mason motored to Beaufort Wednesday afternoon to take their children, Carey and Floyd Temple, Tominie Bell, Gary Williams, Fran cis and Ann Becton and Charles Mason to see Santa Claus. Miss ratricia Morton spent last Monday night in Benufort with Mrs. William Noc. Mrs. Carlton .1. Taylor motored to Core Cr?ek Wednesday after noon and carried Mrs. Roland Small and sons to Beaufort. Mrs. Pearl Olund, Philip Taylor and Johnnie Olund were in New Bern Saturday. Mrs. Emma Oglesby was in Beau fort Saturday morning. Mr. pnd Mrs. Bill Motes, Mrs. Clyde S. Taylor and her father, Frvin P. Motes attended the show in Beaufort Friday evening. Mr. Motes has been with his daughter for two weeks. Little Miss Cherry Dawn Ilar dison, of near New Bern, spent last week with Mr. and Mrs. Carlyle Taylor, Mr. and Mrs. John Hardi son, her parents, came for their daughter Thursday evening. Mrs. Harry Dvis, Mr, and Mrs. Joel Davis and Miss Mary Eliza beth Davis were in Beaufort Satur day morning. Mr. Davis motored to New Bern on business later in the day. Mr. and Mrs. Ashby B. Morton notored to Newport Sunday and attended the 2 o'clock show. Mr. and Mrs. Leonard P. Taylor nd children, of Vanceboro, passed through Sunday enroute to Bache lor to visit Mr. and Mrs. Ed Tay lor and family. Mr. and Mrs. Ralph G. Temple, Miss Doris Temple and their guest, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Merrill, of Cherry Point, spent Sunday after .loon at Newport. Mrs. Willie Bradshaw, Miss Frances Jarman, John William, Richard, Larry and Peggy Brad sliaw were in Beaufort Wednesday afternoon to see Santa Claus. Mr. and Mrs. Raymond, Miss Jean Ball, Mrs. Geo.
