Mr. Milton Woolard arrived home May 25 to spend a week with his family and to attend the grad uation of his two sons, Mickey and Larry, from high school. Mr. Woolard left yesterday to return to Empire, La., where he is cm ployed. Miss Ann Wallace Swindell ar rived Saturday by plane from Cameron, La., for a visit with her grandmother, Mrs. Richard Swin dell. Division of Planning Group Frolics ai Bogue Sound The materiel division of the planning group at Cherry Point met for a party at the Hun-Gil camp on Bogue sound Friday. May 23. It was a get-tdgether for all materiel personnel and their wives or husbands, and also a going-away party for materiel officer, Capt. Garnet E. Bell who is being re leased from duty. A good time was enjoyed by the 85 present. Group singing and dancing were part of the program and seafood prepared at the party was served. Captain Bell was pre sented gifts by the personnel in appreciation of his services since becoming officer of the group. Morrill and Mrs. O. H. Johnson, sr., were hostesses to the St. Andrew's auxiliary when it met at the home of Mrs. Morrill Wed nesday night. Mrs. Paul Branch was in charge of the program and gave a talk on .Faith of the Church. Arrange ments were made for the cake and pie sale which was held over the weekend. An encouraging report was given from the Thrift Shop which is open three days a week. This shop is lo cated on South 8th street and sells hew and used articles to raise money for the proposed new church. -The co-hostesses served soft drinks, cookies and nuts.
