Lucille Ball, Desi Arnaz Appear in Forever Darling Hold on to your hats and let the laughs boom -Lucille Ball and Desi Arnaz, filmdom's funniest couple, are back in a new feature length picture, Forever Darling. Co-starred is James Mason, with Louis Calhern heading an all-laugh supporting cast. The new City Theatre attraction playing from Sunday to Tuesday is the first of producer-actor Ar naz' newly-formed Zanra Produc tions. The trials, tribulations and com ic mishaps of matrimony (probab ly the world's most familiar sub ject) forms the basis of Forever Darling, with a novel twist added. When Lucille Ball, as Susan, finds that rosy hue of the honey moon with her scientist spouse, Larry (Arnaz), is beginning to fide, she finds uflteifrfected re sources in the advice and protec I tion of her Guardian Angel (James Mason). Through this ephemeral coun sellor, she is persuaded that the reason for her floundering mar Jriage is due to lack of interest in ] her husband's career. So Susan de termines to accompany him on a camping expedition in which Larry is to make field experiments on a new insecticide formula. The trip provides the most hila rious satire of what can happen when a city-bred girl gets caught up in sleeping bags, inflated rub ber boats, outdoor cooking utensils and various other dificulties of living in the Great Outdoors. The Bottom of the Bottle plays at the City Wednesday through Friday starring Van Johnson, Jo seph Cotten and Ruth Roman with Jack Carson.
