Composer Left No New Works Helsinki (AP)?There are no new compositions to be expected from the estate of the Finnish composer Jean Sibelius, and no Eighth Sym phony, Sibelius' daughter, Mrs. Eva Paloheimo, has told the Asso ciated Press. His papers have not yet been gone through, but Mrs. Paloheimo | says the family is sure there are | no new compositions among them j Sibelius' close friends confirm I this belief. His last work the "Tap iola," dates from 1927, said the Helsinki composer and conductor Nils Eric Fourgstedt. Fourgstedt thinks Sibelius once intended to work on another symphony but burned whatever pages he wrote. "We did not expect anything new from the maestro," Fourgstedt said.
