She sang Whither Thou Goest and The Bridal Prayer. The bride was given in marriage by her brother, Charlie Clifton Lewis. She wore a waltz length gown of lace over satin fashioned with a fitted bodice and full skirt. Long sleeves ended in points over the hands. The y-shaped neckline was scalloped, as was the hemline. She wore a waist length veil of illusion attached to a crown of seed pearls and sequins. She carried a satin covered Bible topped with a white orchid and showered with satin ribbons. Mrs. Charles Garner of Newport was matron of honor and the bride's only attendant.
