retary. A business meeting will be
held the first Tuesday of each
month. At the next business ses

ganization and choose a name for
the class.
Mr. Fred Parriah leads the
dances. The classes are held each
Tuesday at I p.m. and anyone in
terested may attend.
Five Members Take Part
In Auxiliary Program
Five members participated in

iliary meeting Tuesday night at
the First Free Will Baptist Church.
Mrs. Bonnie Rice was in charge
of the program and she was as
sisted by Mrs Alger Shopshire,
Mrs. Bruce Dudley, Mrs. J. T.
Mason and Mrs. Bradley Mcin
tosh.
The GTA group, under the direc
tion of Mrs. Albert McElmon, sang
and recited for the auxiliary. The
meeting was dismissed with prayer
by Miss Carolyn Bullard.

WMS Ends Prayer Week
With All-Day Meeting
The Women's Missionary Socicty
of the First Baptist Church will
end its observance of the Week of
Prayer with an all-day meeting at
the church today.
Lunch will be served at the
church. The highlight of the week's
observance was Wednesday night
when the brotherhood joined the
Women's Missionary Socicty for a
service.
The brotherhood chorus sang a
number under the direction of
Ralph Wade, minister of music.
Go-Tell Auxiliary Gives
Play at Monday Meeting
The Go-Tell Auxiliary of the
Fir?t Free Will Baptist Church,
Morehead City, met Monday. We
sang a song and Sharon Cannon
led us in prayer.
Thru we had our play and took
up the offering. We closed with
prayer and had refreshments.

of St. Egbert's parish met at the
home of Sarah Rority Monday af
ternoon. The president opened the
meeting with prayer.

the honor program, which was on

To Esther Rebekah Lodge
Mr. D. Cordova spoke to the
Esther Rebekahs Wednesday night
on Civil Defense. Mr. Cordova is
Morehead City Civil Defense chair
man. The Rebekahi met at the
recreation building.
Ten members are planning to at
tend the district meeting next Sat
urday in Wilmington.
Following the meeting, refresh
ments of cookies, potato chips and
colas were served.
