at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday when hia
FSK-8 covigar jet crashed in the
marsh area near Atlantic.
While engaged in rocket firing
practice the plane collided with
the ground during a run on the
target.
Captain Jenkins was a member
of Marine Squadron 533. A native
of Dallas, Tex., he is survived by
his wife, Billye, and tour children
of llavelock, and his mother, Mrs.
Bertha M. Jenkins, of Dallas.
