PTA Makes $128 Profit On Tom Thumb Wedding The first grades of Camp Glenn School made $128 on the Tom Thumb wedding given Thursday night and Friday afternoon at the school. The event was sponsored by the PTA. All members of the first grade took part in the program. Jeannie Wagner was the bride, Donny Jones the groom, Gregory Rowe, best man, Mona Ellis was maid of honor and Bobby Terrell was the minister. Beth Dixon carried the rings. Also taking part were six brides maids, six flower girls, six ushers, the parents of the bride and groom and a choir. Teachers of the first grades are Mrs. Sallie Mason, Mrs. Eita Lee PigoM and Mrs. Betty Sewell. ' *9Vt ' Mrs. Daniels Entertains Bridge Club on Friday Mrs. L. A. Daniels was hostess Friday evening to her bridge club. She used poppies and mixed sum mer flowers for decoration. High score was won by Mrs. John Paul Jones, second high by Mrs. Jack Morgan and low by Mrs. R. C. Jones. Mrs. R. C. Jones and Mrs. Clyde Willis, who were observing their birthdays, were remembered with gifts from the club. Mrs. Daniels served a dessert course with coffee. The club will meet in two weeks at the home of Mrs. Jasper Phillips. Mrs. Byrd Wade Hostess To Service Guild Monday The Wesleyan Service Guild of First Methodist Church met at the home of Mrs. C. B. Wade Monday evening with the president, Mrs. Bertha Stallings, presiding. Devotions were given by Miss Lucille Piner and Mrs. Ethan Da vis gave the program, which dealt with the march of youth in mis sions. She emphasized the work being done by young people at home and abroad. The May dinner meeting was discussed and several committees were appointed to make arrange ments.
