Matthews I AM NOT A POLITICIAN but I am a citiien of More bead Uty and I am Interested in the growth and develop ment of our port. Saturday Is election day. My food friend. Judge Luther Hamilton, Is a candidate for State Senator. The vote in this county will be light unless every one of us makes it a point to go to the polls In his respec tive precinct and vote. Saturday you are faced with this question: Had yoa rather have a man for your Senator from Carteret County or someone from Lenoir, Craven or Onslow County? If we don't support our local men wholeheartedly, we can't expect to ever get anything la this county. U we don't help oarselves locally, we can't expect the counties up the State to help nsl Saturday is an important election tor as, the people of Morehead City and Carteret County. We need Judge Hamilton in the Senate. It Is a thankless Job on his part If be Is willing U> sacrifice five months of his time with the expense and necessary long trips to Raleigh and back, we shoald be willing to sacrifice a few minates of o?r time. I am appealiag to yoa, every citlxen of Morebead City and Carteret Comity, to go to the polls Saturday and vote for Jndge Hamilton. If yoa are interested In the future of your port, yoa will do so.
