Adair last Obituaries JOSEPH W. FULCHER Joseph W. Fulcher, 85, died Tues day at his home in Stacy. Funeral services were held Saturday in the Stacy Free Will Baptist Church with the Rev. J. W. Alford of More head City officiating. He was assisted by the Rev. Win ston Sweeney, pastor of the church, the Rev. Mr. Lee of Jacksonville, the Rev. Mr. Hales and the Rev. Louie Lewis of Atlantic. Interment was in the Stacy community ceme tery. Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Connie Daniels of Stacy; two sons, Horace Fulcher of Robersonville and Hubert Fulcher of Wilson; six grandchildren and one great-grand child. JOHN W. BOM) John Wesley Bond, 58. of Bettie, died in the Sea Level Community Hospital Wednesday evening. Mr. Bond was a native of Portsmouth, Va., and was retired from civil service. He was a member of Moose Lodge 898 of Portsmouth. Funeral services were held in the Welcome Home F'ee Will Baptist Church, Bettie. Sanday at 3:30 by the Rev. Graham Baker a f Green ville. MAGGIE FINER Mrs. Maggie Piner, widow of William Finley Piner, died in a Jacksonville, Fla., hospital Satur day evening after a lengthy ill ness. Mrs. Piner was a member of the First Baptist Church, More head City. She Is survived bv one daughter, Mrs. George M. Piner of Jackson ville, Fla.; one son. Phillips will leave this weekend to attend summer camp at Dexter, Maine. Mrs. G. B. Taibot and two chil dren will leave today for Seattle, Wash., to make their home during the summer months.
