C. Lewis of Kinaton, district secretary of Mis ?ionary Education, presiding. More than a hundred women were present. Suggestions for pre senting the programs of the year were given by Mrs. Fred Whitty of New Bern, district vice-presi dent. Helpful information for teach ing the four study courses was given by the following: Isaiah Mrs. Sam Dunn of Enfield, Con ference Secretary of Missionary Education; Christian Concern of North American Neighbors ? Mrs. C. W. Taylor of Havelock and Mrs. John Steinert of Kinston; The Mid dle East^-Mrs. John Wooten of Kinston, and Mr&. Walton Bass of New Bern; and Understanding Other Cultures? Mrs. J. L. Smith of Havelock and Mrs. Marvin Vick of Kinston. Literature which is available concerning these subjects and other work of Methodist women was presented by Mrs. Eugene Koonce of New Bern. The district president, Mrs. I. N. Moore of Beaufort, dedicated the offering, and Mrs. E. E. Davis of Beaufort gave a meditation based on selections from the book of Isaiah.
