NOTICE OF SALE UNDER EXECUTION North Carolina Carteret County In the Superior Court Carteret County vs. Taxpayers and Realty as hereinafter listed Under and pursuant to au thority of G.S. of N.C. 105 892, subsection (c), and by authority of those certain ex ecutions issued by the Clerk, Superior Court of Carteret County in the proceedings as above captioned and dated July 28, 1958, pursuant to the judgments entered for unpaid taxes due Carteret County constituting a lien on the lands hereinafter de scribed and for the years as hereinafter set forth, the un dersigned sheriff will offer i for sale and will sell to the highest bidder for cash, sub- . ject however to the lien of any other taxes which may be due and owing either Car- : teret County or any other taxing unit, the following parcels or tracts or real es tate, said sale to be at the 1 door of the Carteret County Courthouse in Beaufort, N. Inc, announces that the stockholders have agreed to sell its New Bern auto agency to a new company. The new company is to operate at the same location, 1401 Neuse Blvd. The transfer will be made about Oct. 1, 1958. The Craven Motor Co. was or ganized in 1933. Mr. Babson joined the company on March 1, 1940 and has been the manager since that time. He states that the corpora tion is selling the automobile part of its business in order to expand further its real estate interests. The United States Coast Guard was founded in 1790. It was pro posed by Alexander Hamilton, then George Washington's Secretary of the Treasury. Leslie Fulford Appeals Verdict Monday Morning Leslie Fulford, Morehead City, appealed a drunk driving convic tion to fuperior court Monday. Morehead City recorder'! court judge Herbert Pbillipa had fined him 1100 plus court coata. Fulford'a bond was aet at $100. Eatella Jones, llorehead City, paid $23 and coata after being found guilty of driving without a license. Judge Phillipa told her the $25 fine would be refunded if she presents a valid license within two weeks. Foud Guilt; Haywood W. Strickland, Knight dale, was found guilty of forcible trespass at the Coffee Cup Res taurant. He got a one-year sen tence suspended on payment of court costs and damages to the restaurant. Harry J. English, Camp Lejeune, paid $10 and costs for making an improper turn. James B. Denbow and Margaret G. Fetterolf, both of Morehead City, paid costs. Den dow was charged with running a red light while the woman was charged wtih running a stop sign. Forfeits Bond Earl R. Ezzelle forfeited a cash bond. He had been charged with running a red light. Willis T. Wolfe, Mt. Olive, and Louis G. Watson Jr., Norfolk, failed to appear when their cases were called. The men had posted bonds through bonding companies, so judgments were entered against the bonds and the judge ordered the men picked up. Cases were continued against Royal Durwood Golden, H. R.
