Three Crowe Children Celebrate Birthdays Miss Virginia Crowe and her twin brothers, Ronald and Donald Crowe, celebrated their birthdays with a cook-out at their home In Mansfield Park Thursday. Virginia celebrated her 13th birthday Friday and Ronald and Donald celebrated their 10th birth day Nov. 3. Forty-one guests at tended and enjoyt-d a supper of hamburgers, cookies and colas. Emma Jean was the state runner-up in the corn meal muffin contest and won several medals and certificates as well as a check and package of gifts. Mosquito Control Report Given A. D. Fulford. county sanitarian, told county commissioners yester day that there is a possibility that Civil Defense funds may be avail able to fight mosquitoes, since the pests came forth in big hordes after Hclene. The board authorized Mr. Ful ford to apply for CD mosquito fighting funds. The sanitarian gave a financial report on the mosquito control pro gram this past year. As of Oct. 31, 1958 there was a balance in the mosquito fund of $1,146.12. Applied by the county to the con trol program was $4,400, by the state $5,742 and cash on hand at the beginning of the summer sea son was $826.91. Cost of the program was $9, 822.79.
